Admission Procedure

St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School ensures a simple and transparent admission process. Admissions are open for LKG to Grade 12, based on seat availability. The procedure includes:

  • 1. Enquiry and Application: Parents/Guardians can visit the school office or contact via phone/email to enquire about available seats. Application forms are available at the school office or can be downloaded online.
  • 2. Submission of Application: Submit the completed form along with the required documents to the school office within the timeline.
  • 3. Interaction and Assessment: For LKG and lower grades, informal interaction is conducted. Higher grades may require a written test or interview.
  • 4. Admission Confirmation: Selected candidates will be notified. Parents must confirm admission by paying fees and submitting documents.
  • 5. Fee Payment: Full payment of admission and applicable fees is required to secure a seat.

Documents Required for Admission

Submit the following documents during admission:

  • 1. Filled application form
  • 2. Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
  • 3. Transfer Certificate (TC) for higher classes
  • 4. Progress Report/Marksheet
  • 5. Aadhar Card (photocopy)
  • 6. Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • 7. 4 Passport-sized photographs
  • 8. Address proof (photocopy)
  • 9. Medical fitness certificate (if required)
  • 10. Migration certificate (for other boards)

Eligibility Criteria

  • For LKG: Minimum age is 3 years as of June 1st.
  • Primary Classes (Grade 1-5): Must have completed the previous grade from a recognized institution.
  • Middle School (Grade 6-8): Transfer Certificate and the latest report card required.
  • Secondary Classes (Grade 9-10): Admission based on previous class performance, Transfer Certificate, and report card.
  • Higher Secondary (Grade 11-12): Must have passed Grade 10 from a recognized board. Stream selection depends on subject performance.
